Etre Divergent !
N’appartenir à aucune faction ne peut amener qu’à deux solutions possibles : devenir un Sans Faction ou bien être Divergent.
Beatrice/Tris et Tobias/Four sont divergents. Cela veut dire qu’ils ont au moins deux traits de caractère dominants de factions existantes. De fait, ils n’entrent dans aucunes des factions directement. Ils sont en quelque sorte des couteaux-suisses de la société. Malheureusement pour eux, être Divergent représente un trouble potentiel à l’ordre public car ils n’entrent dans aucune “case”.
Tris et Four choisissent la faction des Audacieux non pas en rapport à leurs capacités et aptitudes physiques mais parce que leur caractère est d’aller vers l’avant, vers l’action (pour faire changer les choses ?).
Ils sont incontrôlables par le gouvernement et donc représentent une menace pour la société.
Se pose maintenant la question de la réelle utilité des Divergents… Sont-ils à considérer comme des élus à la Matrix ? Sont-ils simplement des éléments perturbateurs ? De jeunes rebelles auxquels peuvent s’identifier les adolescents ?
Le premier film Divergent (lire notre critique) n’apporte pas d’indications particulières à ce sujet. On devine qu’ils deviennent simplement des leaders d’une opposition en contradiction avec le système totalitaire repris par les Erudits avec l’appui des Audacieux.
Pourquoi cette prise de pouvoir ?
